Last weekend I was at dDread Con Literary Festival in Waterloo and – wow – was it an amazing time. 50 horror authors, some great panels and hundreds of books to be had!
This is truly the first event of its kind in Canada – and if you are familiar with Shock Stock or maybe even the dealers room at a large horror authors convention, it is like that for just books. Sure, there were a few adjacent bookish goods and wares, but almost all of the tables were books and authors.
